We are seeking an experienced software development engineer to be part of a team working on a confidential new product. The ideal candidate is an innovative self-starter who is looking for an opportunity to be both an individual contributor and technical lead. You will be working across multiple organizations and services within Amazon to deliver the unique experience that we are creating.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code in React Native

• Develop and support mobile software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements

• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards

• Support test and deployment of new products and features

• Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with React Native and TypeScript

• 5+ years experience with native mobile app development

• 8+ years experience as a software engineer

• Experience developing and deploying apps for both iOS and Android

• Solid understanding of Agile methodology

• Ability to pick up and build upon new concepts quickly

• Self-driven and guided individual with a passion for technology
